Iran-backed Yemen rebels announce first civilian death in US-UK strikes

One civilian has been reported dead and eight others wounded in recent airstrikes by US and British forces in Yemen, according to the Huthis' official news agency. The Iran-backed rebels have confirmed the casualties from the joint raids. These airstrikes were in response to numerous Huthi drone and missile attacks on Red Sea shipping since November, which the rebels claim are in support of Palestinians in the Gaza conflict.
